APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE : Apologies were received from the Police.

WELCOME : The Chairman welcomed Mr M Hodgson and thanked him for coming to the meeting to talk to us about how to get Cartington PC onto a web site.  Mr Hodgson said he could put it on as a subsection of the Rothbury site and he would do the donkey work.

Mr Armstrong explained that the Parish Council had no contact with its parishioners and it would be useful to have the dates of the meeting and the minutes etc put onto the site.

The Freedom of Information would also be put on and it was decided to charge 10p per sheet for photocopying and everything else was in the pro-forma.

It was wondered if it was possible to put a map of the parish on the site also – Councillor Bridgett said he could get a map of the parish.

Mr Hodgson said once he had it up and running the council might want to alter it a bit but that would be no problem.

Mr Hodgson was thanked for his help and left the meeting.
